Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms apply to all quotes, demos and services from Lumavila. Please read them carefully. If something is unclear, just ask us.

1. Who we are

Lumavila is a trade name of [Company name], [Registered address], Portugal, NIF [NIF coming soon]. Email: hello@lumavila.com.

2. Free demo

The demo website we build for you is free and without obligation. Until you place an order, the demo remains our property and we may take it offline.

3. Quotes and prices

Our prices are shown on this website and in your quote. One-off packages are paid once; the care plan is billed monthly.

All prices are excluding VAT, which is added where applicable.

An order is confirmed once you accept our quote in writing (email is fine).

4. Payment

Payment terms are stated in your quote and on the invoice. If a payment is late, we may pause work or the care plan until it is settled.

5. Your part

You provide the texts, photos and details we need in good time, and you confirm you have the right to use them.

You are responsible for the information shown about your property, including your Alojamento Local (AL) licence number, prices and house rules.

6. Delivery

We aim to go live within the time agreed in your quote. Timelines may move if we are waiting for content or feedback from you.

7. Ownership

Once paid in full, the website content and your domain name are yours. We may mention the project in our own portfolio, unless you tell us not to.

8. Care plan

The care plan covers hosting, security updates, small changes and support. It runs month to month.

You can cancel at any time by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. On request, we help you move your website.

9. Liability

We do our best to keep your website working and secure, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or bring a certain number of bookings.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit.

10. Complaints and disputes

If you are not happy, please tell us first so we can find a solution together.

Portuguese law applies. Consumers may also use the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) at www.livroreclamacoes.pt, or an alternative dispute resolution entity listed at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
