1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is [Company name], [Registered address], Portugal, NIF [NIF coming soon]. You can reach us at hello@lumavila.com.

2. What data we collect

When you fill in the contact form: your name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional), country, number of properties, a link to your listing or website, your message, your chosen language and, if you used it, the numbers from the savings calculator.

When you ask us to email you a calculation: your email address and the calculator values.

When you contact us by email or WhatsApp: the details you share with us.

When you visit the website: basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit, kept in server logs for security.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

To reply to your request, build your free demo and prepare a quote (steps before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To deliver the services you order and to send invoices (contract and legal obligations, Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

To keep the website safe and working (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

For optional cookies or statistics: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who receives your data

We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers who help us run this website, such as our hosting and database providers. They act on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

If a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we make sure your data is protected with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your messages under its own privacy policy.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted at the latest 2 years after our last contact.

Client and invoice data is kept for as long as Portuguese tax and accounting law requires (currently up to 10 years).

Server logs are kept for a short period only.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use only strictly necessary storage in your browser: to remember your language and your cookie choice. These do not track you.

Cookies for statistics or marketing are only placed after you click "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To use your rights, simply email hello@lumavila.com. We reply within one month.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your data to the people who need it.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always on this page.
